This beautiful view was taken from Hwy126 facing the southeast. The area in the foreground was once called Rancho Sespe. The rise and fall of the hills in the background are deeply etched in the landscape of my childhood memories. I haven't lived in this area since the 1970's. Yet, every time I return, the first sight of the surrounding hills welcomes me home like un abraso cariñoso, an affectionate hug.
Rancho Sespe was approximately 3 miles west of Fillmore on Hwy 126 in Ventura County, California.
